Infrastructure, reliability and developer experience for products in production.

• Led the full migration of Taskbird, Turno’s sister product, from DigitalOcean to GCP/GKE: application runtime, MySQL, Redis, Kafka and analytics, through cutover and decommissioning the previous environment.
• Reduced Redis and Cloud SQL memory usage by 50% after the migration. Also moved Redis to high availability, with tested failover and infrastructure managed through Terraform.
• Replaced CPU-based autoscaling with queue-based scaling using KEDA across three services, allowing idle workers to scale to zero.
• Restored 12 Grafana alert rules that had stopped evaluating, and added CI validation to reject alerts with invalid data sources.
• Served as incident commander or on-call engineer during five production incidents in 2026, writing root cause analyses and turning corrective actions into new alerts.
• Shipped booking-api to production with Docker, GitHub Actions, Terraform and Kafka, resolving 18 CVEs before launch. Added cosign signing to the internal developer CLI.
• Migrated pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions, using self-hosted runners managed with Terraform, increasing release volume by 35%.

Operated and improved global products, collaborating with teams across time zones.

• Maintained and optimized environments with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform, supporting CI/CD pipelines and Python automation.

Provided L3 support for a global application used in 24 countries, as part of a team operating around the clock.

• Investigated production issues using Linux, MongoDB and New Relic, bringing together technical support, diagnostics and operational continuity.

Worked remotely on IT infrastructure for a company based in Prague, Czech Republic.

• Maintained environments with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware vCenter, Docker and Linux.
